About
I'm Tyler Richardson, a 32-year-old artist from New Zealand with a motorsport background starting in go-karts at 8 years old. My journey into founding Helmart began when I received a plain white helmet for my birthday, sparking my interest in designing and being an artist.
The Helmart brand was then born from that passion at age 12 where I moved to doing friend’s helmets every week after school before a race weekend, and now 20 years on, I have further honed that love for what I am so lucky to do - continuing to craft unique, detailed artworks for the motorsport world, iconic brands and beyond.
My goal is to provide clients with one-of-a-kind pieces, whether for racing on global circuits at the highest levels of motorsport, karting, or for display as an awesome piece of custom hand made artwork.
